Mr + Mrs Kidd
I don't think I have seen a love as natural and beautiful as Emily and Geoff. They are an Auckland based couple who utilise Wanaka as their second home - so naturally, it was only right to wed at the gorgeous Rippon Vineyard and Hall. I was lucky enough to be invited to co-ordinate their perfect day and ensure everything ran smoothly. ( Lucky Me! )
Em and Geoff's romance florished in their workplace when Geoff made the first move by leaving a bottle of cider on Em's desk... Em didn't even like cider. Geoff worked in a different department to Em, but soon became a frequent flyer to the call center.
They soon found out they were both from a family background and had many a thing in common. It's fair to say it may have been love at first si..cider.
Em and Geoff were surrounded on a pearler of a day in Wanaka, by their nearest and dearest. The day was perfect, a massive family affair with Grandparents and Parents growing florals, setting up and getting stuck in to ensure these two had the most perfect day! Nothing was a problem for anyone.
The day its self was relaxed and full of laughs and tears. Em and Geoff have a really close knit and special connection with their friends and family, and you could see and feel this throughout the day. They wed at 3pm and then spent the afternoon enjoying a multitude of cocktails with their guests, moving to the reception, having some of the best and hilarious wedding speeches and then sneaking off for photos after dinner and then to end the night dancing to the sounds of The Soul Agency.
Em and Geoff had a bridal party of epic proportions, check out these introductions put together by the oh so talented Flatroc Films.
To sum up this day, I would put the word magical on it. It was truly perfect. And this day goes to reiterate that the most important part of the day is the people that are there to celebrate with you - don't stress the small things!
